Would you like to learn how to make local Irish breads in a traditional thatched cottage on the shores of Strangford Lough – 30 minutes outside Belfast? This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and a true feast for the eyes.

If so, join Tracey in her home, where you’ll be welcomed with the aroma of freshly made griddle breads, soda and wheaten, and a table laden with homemade treats.

Homemade bannock will be warm, just out of the oven for your arrival, so bring an appetite! There will be an impressive selection of other local treats for you to enjoy such as award-winning handmade butter, homemade jams and endless cups of Belfast brew.

Then you will make your own traditional Irish breads. You may choose to stay at the table and enjoy the homemade food, or you might prefer to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

All breads are made on the griddle and so only take a short time {10 to 13 minutes} before they’re ready to eat.

You will take home a bag of your own homemade breads and a copy of all of the recipes of everything that you will taste and enjoy.
