Description

"Probably the most interesting shop in the country…" You will discover the weird, the wonderful, the unexpected: antique furniture, vintage, industrial salvage, bric-a-brac, decorative furnishings and much, much more inside this huge warehouse just beside Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.

With over 12,000 square feet of antiques, vintage, industrial, urban salvage and the weird and wonderful this is a true emporium!

Started by husband and wife team Jill and Justin in 2010 selling upcycled furniture, On the Square Emporium outgrew two premises before settling at Heron Road, near Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.

Jill’s passion is artist-led, working with local craftsmen to upcycle and repurpose vintage items; while Justin has a passion for all things antiques and vintage. This makes for an eclectic mix that has earned the Emporium the reputation as one of the most interesting shops in Ireland!

The store has been featured in many TV shows such as Salvage Hunters, Make Me A Dealer and Antiques Road Trip and worked on set design with countless TV shows and movies.

The Emporium is very much a treasure trove for all things ‘old’! And if you have a special interest in vintage and antiques, this is one place you cannot miss.

With Northern Ireland’s rich history in agriculture, linen, and of course shipping – you are sure to have a fascinating insight into life in Ireland across the decades when you look around the store.
