Post House welcomes all to their neighbourhood bar. Inviting you to unwind, connect, and make memories with friends old and new.
Whether you're seeking a laid-back setting after a long day or gearing up for an exciting night out, Post House is the place to be. Raise a glass to community, laughter, and the spirit of Belfast at Post House.
Nestled on the iconic Malone Road, Post House is steeped in the rich history of one of Belfast’s most cherished avenues. Stretching back to the 19th century, Malone Road has witnessed the city’s evolution, from its elegant Victorian architecture to its role as a hub for culture and commerce.
Not always a home to a public house, this site was once what was a Post House, established in 1898; designed by a firm of local architects, E. & J. Byrne. Think of it as both the Post Office and the local taxi service of its day.
Posting Houses or Post Houses were inns where horses were kept and could be rented or charged out for some essential travel or even a jaunt around the countryside, postriders could also be hired to take travellers by carriage or coach and delivered post and packages. A service that a city like Belfast could not have done without.
From 2023, it has been taken into our caring hands, as Post House history has returned for the next chapter.
Post House is a place to pull up a seat, relax and unwind with a refreshing pint or cocktail on the terrace or retreat into our dining space to indulge in a 3 course meal with family and friends; they've got something for all your occasions.
From working lunches to lunch-time breaks, their Express Lunch specials are just the ticket; changed weekly and served daily from 12pm.
Enjoy their All Day Menu, filled with a host of hearty classics & light bites Served from 12pm | 7 days a week.
A Sunday well spent brings a week of content, enjoy a Sunday Roast special paired with sport on the big screens & live music.

They have opened a brand new private event space on their 2nd floor, introducing you to the Sorting Room. From corporate events, product & press launches, celebrations, weddings, day two, family occasions. Make yourself at home, they can offer a unique private space including a bar, tv’s, large screen & more.
