Queen’s University Belfast Architecture Walking Tour
Please note, Northern Ireland will be in a six-week lockdown from 26 December. During this period all non-essential retailers, visitor attractions and accommodation providers will be closed and pubs, cafés and restaurants will be open for takeaway only.
Description
The walking tour in Queen’s University Belfast explores both historical and modern buildings in the campus.
The Botanic Gardens differed from the ordinary garden; it supplied plants used in medicine. And there is one of the earliest examples of a curvilinear cast iron at the Palm House.
Nearly all the main buildings in Queen’s University Belfast are included on the tour, which also provides a good opportunity to learn about university life.
