Description

Live snooker returns to the Waterfront Hall.

The BetVictor Northern Ireland Open was first staged in 2016, initially held at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast and then moving to the fabulous Waterfront Hall in the heart of the city from 2017. The quality of the venue and the enthusiasm of the local fans have made it one of the most popular locations on the calendar.

Judd Trump won the event three times in a row from 2018 to 2020, then local favouirte Mark Alen raised the roof by capturing the Alex Higgins Trophy in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, the title was back in Trump's hands as  he beat Chris Wakelin 9-3 in the final. Uniquely, the tournament has only been won by left-handers, as the trophy was lifted by Mark King in 2016 and Mark Williams in 2017.

Tickets for the 2024 Northern Ireland Open, at Belfast’s atmospheric Waterfront Hall, are now available to purchase.
