Colin Glen Forest Park is a beautiful wooded glen located in the southwest of Belfast, in the heart of the Belfast Hills. Visitors can enjoy beautiful woodland walks, adventurous outdoor activities and superb leisure facilities with a spectacular unparalleled view over Belfast from a height.

Colin Glen Activity Centre

Activities include:
SKYTrek – Ireland's premier high and low ropes activity centre includes climbing wall and challenges, zip lines and a fan descender. Suitable for everyone from five years and up, SKYTrek will take you out of your comfort zone and force you to overcome challenges at height, leaving you with elated self confidence.
Kayaking – The nearby man-made lake at the top of the beautiful glen is perfect for beginners right through to more experienced paddlers. The team of qualified kayaking instructors will be on board to ensure you not only have a great day in the water but also learn new skills and improve your kayaking ability.
Lazer Tag – This exhilarating outdoor experience is a game of wits and cunning, stealth and strategy. In close combat, try and lead your team to victory using infra-red gaming guns while navigating through the wilderness of the forest.
Mountain Biking - This is the most fun you can have on two wheels and the latest craze to sweep Belfast! Enjoy a leisurely cycle through the park or tackle a purpose built single track mountain bike trail.
Team Building - Test your teamwork with a range of physical, mental and skill based ‘Krypton Factor' or ‘Crystal Maze' style games tailored to your requirements.
Raft building – Robinson Crusoe eat your heart out! This water based competitive team challenge involves constructing a raft from barrels, planks and rope with a little encouragement from Colin Glen's skilled staff.
Archery – Try your hand at archery! This exciting sport is suitable for all ages and abilities, enabling everyone to challenge themselves and develop skills such as accuracy, concentration and mental discipline.

Orienteering
- A fantastic individual or team sport that involves map reading, exercise and attention to detail to ensure that you find all the control points.

Colin Glen Multi-sports

With a fantastic nine hole golf course, 16 bay floodlit driving range and golf lessons from pro Peter Martin, along with the 3G floodlit multi-sport pitch complex, Colin Glen are at the heart of local sport.
Golf - Colin Glen Golf Course is a challenging nine hole parkland course.
Driving range - A state-of-the-art driving range appeals to everyone from beginners to the top young and senior players.
Golf lessons – Colin Glen's very own PGA Golf Pro Peter Martin offers the latest in video technology in his own private teaching bay, equipped with indoor swing nets.
Nerf Wars - Nerf Wars is an outdoor battle using toy weapons to fire foam darts at other participants.

Gruffalo Trail at Colin Glen Forest

The Mouse took a stroll through the deep dark woods... Join the very clever mouse in Colin Glen Forest Park. Follow in his footsteps and meet the silly old fox, owl and snake on the way to an amazing eight foot tall Gruffalo, complete with knobbly knees, turned out toes and a poisonous wart on the end of his nose.
Each character from The Gruffalo has been magically recreated by sculptor Andrew McIntyre and set against the backdrop of the stunning forest park.
The trail takes approximately 45 minutes to get to The Gruffalo and back (depending on how many photos and selfies you take at each sculpture), and then you can sit for a moment or two and take in the beauty of the forest next to the river, before a comfortable stroll back down to the visitor centre, where you can grab a nice cup of tea or coffee.
The Gruffalo Trail experience is completely free, so bring the family and enjoy one of Belfast's most beautiful parks.
