Description

Set in beautiful countryside and home to a wide range of farm animals from the small and fluffy to the big and boisterous.

The Ark is a great day out for all the family, with lots of educational and fun experiences including feeding and handling opportunities. A multitude of activities such as an extensive outdoor play area, kangaroo bouncer and quad trailer rides are sure to keep the kids entertained.
The Ark Open Farm lies not far from Belfast in the countryside between Newtownards and Bangor. The family run business was first opened in 1990 to assist in the preservation of rare and endangered farm animals. Since then the farm has established itself as a popular family attraction whilst the preservation of these species remains at its core.
Ark Open Farm is open all year round and runs a number of special events throughout the year including a great Santa experience.
