Description

The Echlinville Distillery on the Ards Peninsula became Northern Ireland's first licenced distillery in over 125 years, distilling its first spirit in 2013.

Since 2013 Echlinville has established itself in the whiskey industry winning gold at the World Whiskey Awards and the Irish Whiskey Awards. In 2016, Echlinville went into gin production, making the popular Jawbox brand, followed by Echlinville Gin. Situated amongst the sweeping drumlins of the rugged Ards Peninsula in County Down, overlooking morose seascapes, The Echlinville Distillery's surroundings are as uncompromising as their approach to making whiskey.
Their ethos is simple and straight forward in producing the finest spirits with authenticity and provenance,  so it can tell the story of the land from which it originates and of those who brought it to life.

Echlinville Distillery Tours

All tours finish with a few drams of exquisite spirit.
All tours must be pre-booked. Available dates are on the website. Additional dates for groups can be added, depending on availability.
