A host of activities at the Spring Fair family-friendly event: gumboot-throwing competition, sausage sizzle, doggy agility, Cavaliers in Need pet-a-pooch, Speed-stacking, plant and book sale house tours, craft market, free kids’ crafting and face-painting, tea barn open.

Join The Ballance House for their annual Spring Fair at on Saturday 11 May from 12 noon – 4pm.
  • The Kiwi gumboot-throwing competition will challenge all ages then enjoy a tasty traditional New Zealand sausage sizzle.
  • Meet the NI Speed Stackers and have a go at this super-fast sport!  If you haven’t discovered speed stacking yet, check out www.speedstacks.uk
  • Guided tours of the house will be available at 1, 2 and 3 pm and the craft market will have a range of homemade gifts available.  Welcome to the new crafters at this event: Natty Knits, Squirrels Workshop, Alternative Angles and Bluebell Handmade Jewellery.  There will be plants and books for sale and Tombola.  
  • They will be hosting Little Paws Crumlin taster agility sessions all afternoon.  Cavaliers in Need will be joining so come and enjoy a doggy cuddle!
  • The very popular children’s crafts and creative face-painting are free so bring the kids for a creative afternoon out.Tea barn open for snacks and light lunches.
