Description

Returning to Belfast after a sell-out Australian tour, The Crescent are delighted to welcome to the Belfast Book Festival Cake Daddy.

Cake Daddy is a deliciously indulgent musical extravaganza that explores what it means to be fat in a fat-phobic world. This brilliant, interactive performance plunges belly deep inside one gorgeous queer man’s experience of fat/ness, refusing to diet or apologise for taking up space, and laying bare the fortitude and fabulosity required to step into the world as a fat person today.
So come with him on a uniquely personal and hilarious journey, that angrily and uproariously unpacks the intricacies of fatness through song, conversation and cake.
