Description

Join HMS Caroline on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings for an evening of commemorative talks and the opportunity to step on board the ship after hours.

Chairman of the NI War Memorial, Ian Wilson, will be speaking about the role of Belfast in D-Day preparations and, now retired, Lieutenant Colonel Dan Harvey will be speaking about the launch of his new book ’A Bloody Dawn – The Irish at D-Day’.

Drinks reception and talks begin at 7:15pm in the Pump House, however attendees are welcome to arrive from 6pm for an exclusive opportunity to gain evening access to HMS Caroline, a First World War ship moored in Alexandra Dock.
