Description

Belfast City Marathon moves into its 38th year in 2019 with its continued support from title sponsor Deep RiverRock.

Launched in 1982 with 3025 entrants, the event is making history in 2019 moving to a Sunday for the first time ever.  Record marathon numbers are expected also with a brand new flatter faster marathon route starting from Stormont Estate.
The event is expected to bring over 18,000 to Belfast.  Though the vast majority of entrants are local, the event proves to be of great interest 38 years on with registrations from USA, Japan, Australia, across Europe and beyond.
Whether you’re a marathon athlete, keen walker, fundraiser, interested in athletics at school or simply love a challenge, there is an event to suit you on Sunday 5 May 2019.
