Description

Brutally honest, often funny and at times downright bizarre, Unnatural Causes charts the 25 year long career of Dr. Richard Shepherd, the UK’s foremost forensic pathologist, who has a unique passion for discovering the truth that a body leaves behind in the wake of death.

Richard’s obsession with deciphering the puzzles of his silent patients has led to his working on over 23,000 cases, including 9/11, the Bali Bombings and the deaths of Princess Diana and Stephen Lawrence.
The continued exposure to some of the worst acts of violence imaginable inevitably took its toll, and Richard was eventually diagnosed with PTSD as a result, although it has not dampened his faith in humanity. Come and listen to this vivid account of human frailty and resilience.
