Join the Grand Opera House for a three day programme of unmissable events to excite all ages.

You can bring the whole family to find out about the history of the Theatre as well as see behind the scenes and operating the lighting and sound boards in the special daily family theatre tours.
There will also be the Fairy Godmother's Tea Party, where you can join your favourite fairy-tale and pantomime characters for an interactive and fun event that the whole family can enjoy with storytelling and a sing-a-long.
Can Do Academy are running mini animation master classes, which are a great introduction for children to the colourful world of Lego animation. The workshop will allow participants to make a complete animated Lego film on an iPad, using sound effects, visual effects, titles and lots of imagination, with every child receiving a copy of their film at the end of the session.
