Description

Come on a magical mystery journey into the wonderful mind of novelist Ian Sansom with the fifth instalment of his County Guides: The Sussex Murder.

Watch as a intrepid trio, Morley, Miriam and Sefton, plunge once again into the dark heart of England.
Set in 1937, with Hitler, Mussolini and Pope Paul V on fire. Fireworks explode and flaming tar barrels are being dragged through the streets. Bonfire Night in Lewes, Sussex, is the closest England comes to Mardis Gras, and there’s trouble ahead.
When Sefton finds a woman’s body floating in a lido, the mystery begins. Is it a misadventure or could it be … murder?
Join Ian in conversation with David Torrans as they too get caught up in the chaos and the mystery.
