Route Information and Timings

The Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland and is an AIMS certified race. The race will start at Stormont at 9am and finish in Ormeau Park on Sunday 3rd May 2026. The Belfast event is renowned for the incredible local support and crowds to cheer you on throughout your 26.2 miles. If you are taking on the relay, this follows on the same route as the marathon but is split over 5 legs with relay changeover points at Montgomery Road, Boucher Road, Falls Road and Duncairn Gardens.

After you finish your relay leg you will grab your medal and water and are able to jump on a bus to Ormeau Park to join the finish line celebrations. At the finish line Leg E relay runners and marathon participants will get their well-earned medal.

At Ormeau Park there will be a range of sponsor activations, food and beverage vans and a live stream of the marathon coverage on a big screen!
