Northern Ireland Science Festival
The Northern Ireland Science Festival is back for 2026, bringing its trademark mix of interactive workshops, inspiring talks and exhilarating hands-on activities.
From biochemistry to physics, ecology to geology, get ready to explore how you, the universe and everything in between behaves. This year’s festival returns from 11 - 22 February with a stellar programme of over 100 events taking place across Northern Ireland.

Geologists just look at rocks, right? Geologist Chris Jackson invites you to reimagine the almost unimaginable ways in which geology and geologists shape our lives and livelihoods He'll take you on a multi-billion-year journey through space and time to reveal how many of the great social, environmental, and economic challenges of the 21st Century require geologists.
