OX CAVE
Cave is a wine bar next door to Ox Restaurant, where you can indulge in light bites, charcuterie and world wines.
Cave boasts a high quality but not highly priced wine list that contains some wonderful old world wine examples produced from forgotten grapes, served in a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a wide range of Irish gins. Beverages are paired with mostly local, high quality Irish charcuterie and cheeses.
You can try any wine by glass. Staff love to talk about the wines and make sure you drink what you like. The philosophy at CAVE is to investigate new, artisan, organic and biodynamic products and introduce them to wine lovers.
There are wine tastings held every month, either with guest winemakers or specialists to talk about a region or the CAVE wine club with the help of their team of passionate sommeliers.
Game of Thrones fans can also see Valyrian steel knives from the show that are on display in CAVE.
There is live music every Saturday starting at 9pm.
Even as part of Ox Restaurant, you don’t have to go to the restaurant to visit the CAVE. You can pop in anytime.
