Description

Refurbished in 2019, White's Tavern, Garden & BeerHall is located on Winecellar Entry, just off High Street in Belfast City Centre.

Deriving its name from the many wine and spirit merchants who called Winecellar Entry their home, White’s Tavern was established in 1630. This is when the building received Belfast’s first-ever tavern license. Whites is the oldest tavern in Belfast and one of the most authentic Irish pubs that you will find in Belfast city centre.

The building has a great depth and history, from many wine & spirit merchants who occupied these streets to Whites Tavern as we know it today. Now re-born, still with its rich history at heart, Whites Tavern is a place to eat, socialise and enjoy live music.

Whites Tavern was extended in September 2020, creating Whites Garden. Offering a relaxing outdoor space, customers can enjoy small plates, fresh cocktails and live sport on the big screens. With coverage from Guinness Six Nations to the Premier league, the pints are just as good outside or in!

The Whites complex has expanded further again in October 2022 with the opening of Whites Beer Hall. Still in keeping with the traditional Irish feel, Whites Beer Hall boasts of one of the best Sunday Roasts in the city, with an open fire and local live Music every Wednesday through to Sunday.

Open seven days a week, call in for a Guinness how it should be!
