Description

AVA make their debut at Custom House Square. Following Jungle’s sell-out event earlier this year, they return joined by the iconic Groove Armada.

AVA returns to Belfast with its largest-ever non-festival outdoor event. We take on the iconic Customs House Square, located in the heart of the city centre and an essential venue for open-air festivities. Joined by two dance music legends in their own right, but from two very different eras. Please welcome Groove Armada and Jungle who will each perform a DJ set – joining them on the bill will be very special guest Todd Terje! and rising star Aika Mal.

Since their start in '88, Groove Armada have become veterans of the dance scene. From the dancehall dub of "Superstylin'" to the pop appeal of "Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control)" and from the electrifying "I See You Baby" to the dreamy sunset vibes of "At The River," Groove Armada have consistently followed their unique vision. Their music is mature yet brimming with party energy, radiating positivity in every track.

Jungle, the British modern soul musical collective, is known for their vibrant and dynamic live performances, blending funk, soul, and electronic music. Their DJ sets blend a seamless mix of infectious grooves and high-energy beats that keep the dance floor moving. Last time Jungle came to Belfast they brought non-stop energy to a sold out Banana Block show. We expect demand to be just as high this time around.

Now joining the lineup, we welcome none other than the legendary Norwegian disco-house DJ and producer Todd Terje for his first AVA play. Terje has not been seen in Belfast for over a decade, we expect the energy levels to be high as we welcome him to our huge takeover of Custom House Square on September 13th.

Aika Mal, who made her Boiler Room debut at the festival earlier this year, will also join the bill. Todd and Aika will be right at home as they join our headliners Jungle and Groove Armada.
