Description

The South Belfast and the Lisburn Rock Choirs have been singing together since September 2022, ‘flash mobbing’ local landmarks, raising money for charity and delighting audiences wherever they perform.

Rock Choir is the pioneering contemporary choir of the UK and remains unique with over 33,000 members participating in 400 local communities. It offers all ages an alternative experience to the traditional classical or community choir introducing members to feel-good pop, rock and contemporary chart songs.

The South Belfast Rock and Lisburn Rock Choirs have been singing together since September 2022, ‘flash mobbing’ local landmarks, raising money for charity and delighting audiences wherever they perform. Experience the energy, dynamism and joy of their vocal harmonies singing well-loved hits from the 60s through to the present day.

Swing Gals is Northern Ireland’s original and leading vocal harmony trio. They are renowned for their innovative vocal arrangements of swing, jazz and a variety of popular genres spiced up with their unique humour and banter. The girls have been performing together for over 15 years at various events, including festivals, weddings, drinks receptions, corporate dinners and celebratory commemorative events. They’ve received excellent reviews from successful performances at the SSE Arena, The Derry Jazz Festival, the Cathedral Quarter Arts festival and The Festival of Flight. The Gals perform regularly on radio and television. The Gals: Ruth Jennings, Clare Galway and Orla McKeagney are well known solo performers, and all have grown up immersed in the local music and musical theatre scene. They are accompanied on piano by their MD Kathy McKeagney.
