Christmas Wood Carving
Description
An introduction to the traditional craft of woodcarving
Who – Tutor: Steve Ryan
- No prior experience is necessary, this workshop is suitable for beginners and those already with some skills in carving.
What – you will be guided to create a Christmas themed wooden carving, different designs will be available such as Santa, Christmas tree and snowman.
All tools and wood provided.
Where – Island Arts Centre
When – Saturday 7th December
Please note:
Sharp tools are used therefore sturdy boots or shoes must be worn – not open-toed or low-cut footwear. Safety gloves will be provided however if participants have own tight fitting they are welcome to bring their own.
