Little Amal: The Seahorse and the Wolf
Description
Welcome Amal on her first stop in Belfast with an outdoor theatre spectacle of music and dance co-created with hundreds of residents from across the city.
Little Amal arrives in Belfast, mouth of the River Farset. She sails along the River Lagan excited to connect with new people and stories. A procession of music leads Amal to Custom House Square, the site for the old Salthouse Dock in Belfast, where she is met by a time travelling Seahorse. The Seahorse brings Amal on a journey to learn of Belfast’s story and heritage. However, the Wolf is waiting nearby, can Amal and the Seahorse escape?
Little Amal will arrive by boat at around 7pm. The best viewing points for her arrival are at Donegal Quay (The Big Fish) and the Lagan Weir Bridge from 6.30pm.
