The Bench
Description
The Bench is a moving and hilarious story about a day in the life of an ordinary park bench.
An elderly woman sitting on the bench does her best to keep the world away, but she keeps getting interrupted. All she wants to do is sit by herself, being old and grouchy, but here’s a boy skateboarding, there goes a dog sniffing and scurrying about, there are birds chirping, and now there’s a cheerful man wanting to read his newspaper beside her!! It’s all such a nuisance!
Will she ever get some peace? Find out in this beautiful piece of puppet theatre from Denmark.
