Belfast Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of St. Anne, has stood for over 100 years as a place of Christian worship in the heart of Belfast.

Belfast Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of St. Anne, has stood for over 100 years as a place of Christian worship in the heart of Belfast.

The foundation stone of the Cathedral was laid in 1899 and the building itself, Romanesque in style, continued to grow over the years.

The Cathedral is home to the iconic Spire of Hope, intricate mosaics by the Martin sisters, elaborately carved stonework by sculptors Rosamond Praeger, Morris Harding and Esmond Burton, stunning stained glass windows and more! Come and discover the meaningful symbolism and stories that are written into the fabric of the building, and find a moment of reflection in the tranquil space of Belfast Cathedral.
