Description

Want to get behind the scenes of NI's Transport and Industry Store? See inside the treasure trove of thousands of automotive, aeronautic and industrial collections that highlight the history of invention in this part of the world.

Take a self-guided wander around the special collections, including Rex McCandless' innovations, historic bicycles, motorbikes, planes, and boats like the rare Shorts Sealand. This is a unique opportunity to see a working space - unlike the museum!

What to know:

  • The Transport Collection Stores are on Heron Road - not at the Ulster Transport Museum. They'll send the address to you through email once you've booked your ticket.
  • This is not a guided tour and instead is an opportunity to see inside and wander around collections that are rarely seen by the public.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No food and drink allowed due to the nature of the space.
  • There are bathrooms available on-site, however, no baby changing.
