Autumn Foraging Workshop
Description
Join foraging and food expert Clare McQuillan for an Autumn foraging walk around the rural surroundings of the Ulster Folk Museum, and discover a treasure of edible surprises.
In this workshop, Clare will show you how to identify different plants, trees and fruits, and as you go round, you'll also learn how wild plants had their place in rural Ulster people's homes. The walk will be followed by a lunch inspired by seasonal foraged ingredients.
What to know:
-This event is suitable for ages 16+.
-Ticket includes lunch and general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum.
-This is an outside, slow-paced walking event that will take place rain or shine so please wear suitable clothes and footwear.
