Apple Harvest Cooking and Lunch Experience
Description
Come along to this Apple Harvest Lunch on 7th September in collaboration with Lightfoot Bangor.
In the past, many small country cottages would have had apple trees - particularly in the rich soils of county Armagh! The fruit would be harvested and preserved to store over the long winter or enjoyed as part of the abundance of harvest time.
This experience includes a two-course lunch and general access to the Ulster Folk Museum, please take your time to enjoy the museum before and after this event.
What to know:
-Meeting point at The Photographer's Studio at the Ulster Folk Museum
-This will take place from 12:00 to 14:30 on Saturday 7th September 2024
-This event is suitable for ages 16+.
-This is an outside, slow-paced walking event that will take place rain or shine so please wear suitable clothes and footwear
