2D Character Design Workshop With Can Do Academy
Description
“2D animation” or “traditional animation” is the art of drawing images in sequence to create the illusion of character movement.
Modern 2D animators often use software instead of paper and a stylus instead of a pencil, but the principles of animation remain the same. This fun interactive workshop will see participants drawing their own 2D cartoon characters in a way that’s suitable for animation. Everyone will learn about the essentials of good 2-dimensional character creation and get to animate their characters using iPads and user-friendly apps.
For Ages: 8-14 / Duration: 90 mins.
Start Time: 1.00pm (Exit Time: 2.30pm).
Venue: Ulster Museum, Learning Zone.
