Classic Animation Techniques Workshop
Description
We see animation everywhere with modern technology, social media and television, but where did it all begin?
Before Disney and Cartoon Network, animation was seen as little more than an optical illusion to bemuse and entertain audiences. Now you too can amaze and bewilder your friends and family with your handmade, mesmerising creations. Do you know what a Zoetrope is? Have you ever seen a Thaumatrope? In this workshop you will get a chance to make your own and more! Learn the principles of animation through the old techniques and start your journey into the world of moving image.
For Ages: 8-14 / Duration: 90 mins.
Start Time: 1.00pm (Exit Time: 2.30pm).
