Bluegrass Omagh Music Festival
Description
Bluegrass Omagh returns to the Ulster American Folk Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May.
Enjoy music from Billboard-topping Bluegrass artist Kristy Cox & Grasstime, alongside performances by Red Wine, Bow Brothers, Rawhide, Zoe McIntyre & John McIntyre, to name just a few. This year, you can also experience the sounds of Folk and Traditional music from Saelkie Folk and the Armagh Rhymers, across multiple stages at the festival. Expect toe-tapping tunes and knee-slapping rhythms that will have you dancing!
Bluegrass Omagh is a music festival for everyone – families, children, and adults alike! Enjoy live performances throughout the Folk Park, from traditional music on American Street to guitar picking in the Ship and Dockside Gallery. Settle into your deckchair with a smoky American BBQ and a pint in the sun. For families, there will be traditional horse and carriage rides, games to play, and plenty of picnic spots. You can even sample home-baked cherry cake from Mrs Mellon during your visit.
