Little Amal, one little girl, one giant hope, will arrive in Belfast on 16 May and will be welcomed with a series of free family friendly events. Little Amal, a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees. Her journeys are festivals of art and hope. Over the 4 days celebrations filled with performances and symbolic moments with take place across our city. Little Amal will embark on an onwards journey across the island of Ireland, finishing in Dublin.
