Description

Castle Ward are inviting you to get up close & personal with their four-legged furry friends – Alpacas and Donkeys – in the Stable Yard.

Their good friends from Strangford Bay Alpacas and Learning in Harmony with Donkeys will be in attendance at Castle Ward. You can get up close & personal, in this interactive experience. Perfect for animal-enthusiasts  of all ages, we’re sure you’ll have an amazing time getting to know our four-legged furry friends.

Running from 12 Noon to 3pm on Bank Holiday Mondays: 2 May, 27 May, and 26 August; you can feed, pet, and engage with these marvelous creatures, which have been highly socialized and love spending time with people.

The event will be held in Castle Ward’s Stable Yard, and all are welcome! The event is free, but please note the usual entry fee to the estate still applies. Free entry for National Trust Members.

Please note:

This is an outdoor event – some animals will be located indoors within stables in the Stableyard.

Dress appropriately for the weather to ensure your own comfort.
