Description

Easter fun at Whitehead Railway Museum!

Visit the picturesque seaside town of Whitehead this Easter to experience the magic of steam and meet their special guest – the Easter Bunny! All children will receive an Easter Egg from the Easter Bunny (please advise in advance of any dietary requirements on the booking notes).

On the historic 1907 platform at Whitehead Excursion Station you’ll board their train for a short trip within their premises. Hauled by one of their iconic locomotives – No. 3BG ‘Guinness’. Included in your ticket price is admission to their 5-gallery Museum where you can participate in their Easter Hunt and be enthralled by their Giants of Steam!

Short train rides are every 30 minutes from 11am until 3pm (except 1pm), but tickets need to be booked in advance to get your preferred time slot. Note, this is a short train ride – 3 trips up and down their own railway platform.  Although you will be hauled by an engine under steam, you will not be transported off the site.

**Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time. The short steam train ride will be your first activity.**

Afterwards, treat yourself to their Easter specials in the Cups & Carriages Tea Room.

Maximum numbers per slot 35.
