This forward-pushing group of musicians offer an exciting fusion of traditional tunes and contemporary songs that lend a rare immediacy and currency to their sound – best served at a live setting.
Lonesome George’s song-writing (in both English and Irish language) deals with love, life and revolution; brought to life through multi-layered grooves; 4 & 5-part harmonies, ethereal & ambient pieces; rip-roaring reels and dance rhythms; flavours from various genres weave together to create a unique sound; changing from song to song, all while remaining rooted in the Irish tradition.
