Description
Deepen your connection to the natural world in a Native Tree Walk with The Conservation Volunteers on Saturday 26th April.
Learn to identify different tree species and their important roles in our local eco-system. Find out how different tree species have shaped the history, folklore and landscape of Northern Ireland.
During the walk, The Conservation Volunteers will tell you about the work they're doing to a preserve our trees, plus the challenges posed by invasive species, climate change, and human activities. You'll also have the chance to visit their on-site tree nursery!
Please note:
- Suitable for adults and children 8+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
- This event will be outside and will involve walking, please wear appropriate clothes and footwear

- Your ticket for this event includes general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum.
