Description

Banana Block is a new living museum and events space set within a historic linen mill and inspired by the curious connections between Belfast and bananas.

Banana Block is all about collaboration, delivered in partnership with National Museums NI. They are working hand-in-hand with their tenants, with the local community and with partners locally, regionally and internationally. From the regeneration of the local community, to promoting sustainable ways of living, to new ways of doing business; Banana Block is an open platform for new conversations and new ideas.

Host to an array of events Banana Block provides an ever changing schedule of things to do. Tour their exhibitor outlets and grab a bite to eat while you learn about the history of the space and plans for the future. Come along to their events run by the community of artisan producers, creative entrepreneurs, innovative businesses who call Banana Block their home. Meet the full time residents through their tours and workshops to get a behind-the-scenes peek inside their worlds of mushroom growing, cheese making, record collecting, indoor growing and artisan baking.
