Frank and Honest Belfast Bikes is the low cost, convenient way to get around with over 50 docking stations and 400 bikes across the city.
The scheme launched in 2015 and is managed by Belfast City Council. The current sponsor is Frank and Honest Coffee.
With over 50 docking stations and 400 bikes located across the city, it’s the low cost, convenient way to get around.
To sign up for Frank and Honest Belfast Bikes:
- Download the Nextbike app
- Enter your details
- Select one of the following options: pay as you go (£1 for 30 minutes), annual membership (£25 per year), or three-day casual membership (£6). For annual and three-day memberships, the first 30 minutes of each journey is free.
To use Frank and Honest Belfast Bikes:
- Scan the QR code on the bike to open the lock
- If you are stopping for a short break, select ‘park’ on the app and press down the lever at the frame lock. To continue the ride press 'Open lock'.
- To return your bike, dock it at any Belfast Bikes docking station. Press down the lever on the frame lock and the rental will be ended automatically.
- Check your app to make sure your rental has ended (otherwise you may continue to be charged)
