Built in 1726 in a distinctly Italianate style, the grade A listed Old Courthouse is now a Visitor Information Centre in Antrim.
Having fallen into disuse, it was purchased by Antrim Borough Council in 2002 and subsequently redeveloped. As well as having a tourist information centre and Mann's Café on the ground floor, it houses a multi-purpose auditorium on the first floor where Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council run a programme of cultural activities throughout the year. The space is also available to hire for performances, conferences, meetings and weddings at very competitive rates.
