The Garrick Bar is a traditional pub in the heart of the city centre serving food every day from 12pm. Well known for trad music sessions and showing sport regularly.
The Garrick Bar was established in 1870 in what was a former marble & stone yard of William Low. Rumour has it that from around 1840 he was selling liquor under the counter. At some point in the 30 years that followed a tavern was established on the corner of Chichester St & Montgomery St and in 1870 McCauley, McCashkin & Co who described themselves as Rectifying Distillers and Wine & Spirit Merchants, were dispensing drinks at this location.
Fast forward to today and it is a bustling city centre bar many locals describe as an iconic Belfast Pub. Serving food daily and famous for its traditional music sessions, beer and Irish Whiskey selection, Irish Coffees and now its Belfast Coffees.
