COVID-19 Update: North Down Visitor Information Centre has reopened.

Description

Bangor's Tourist Information Centre offers a high quality service including free information, accommodation reservations, bureau de change and a gift shop.

There is a vast array of events hosted throughout the year to entertain the whole family. Choose from countless leisure activities, an abundance of water-sports, picturesque parks, enchanting woodlands, sandy beaches and scenic promenades waiting for you at the North Down.

The visitor information centre offers high quality service including the following:

  • Free information on the local area along with free literature

  • Accommodation reservation and advice

  • Bureau-de-change

  • Fax and photocopying service

  • Extended opening hours during summer months

  • Access for disabled

  • Out of hours information

  • Gift shop with a wide range of local crafts and souvenirs for sale.

    January to April and September to December:

    • Monday and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9am – 5pm
    • Wednesday: 10am – 5pm
    • Saturday: 10am – 4pm.

    May to August:

    • Monday and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9am – 5pm
    • Wednesday: 10am – 5pm
    • Saturday: 10am – 5pm
    • Sunday: 1pm – 5pm.
