Northern Ireland’s only professional ice hockey team, The Stena Line Belfast Giants take to home ice at The SSE Arena, Belfast for action packed game nights all season long.

The Belfast Giants made history in 2000, becoming the first professional ice hockey team on the island of Ireland. Over the last two decades the team has captured the hearts of millions of fans at home and abroad, with their high-impact on-ice action and entertaining game night experience.

Part of the Odyssey family, the Giants call The SSE Arena, Belfast home with ice hockey having grown to become the most popular indoor sport in Northern Ireland. The Giants compete in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) and are the reigning treble champions, having brought the League, Challenge Cup and Playoff trophies home to Belfast last season.

Whether you’re a diehard hockey fan or a total newbie, a Belfast Giants home game is not to be missed. In addition to business-as-usual EIHL clashes all-season-long, this season, the grand slam winning Belfast Giants have also qualified for the prestigious Champions Hockey League (CHL) which will see the side take on the best of Europe in thrilling end-to-end ice hockey action.

Ice hockey is a game for everyone – whether it be a date with a mate, a group night out or fun time with the family.
