Winter Foraging
Description
Join foraging and food expert Clare McQuillan on Sunday 10th November for a Winter foraging walk around the beautiful rural surroundings of the Ulster Folk Museum.
Discover a treasure of edible surprises. Clare will teach you how to identify a range of plants, trees and fruits, and as you go round you'll also learn the role wild plants played in rural Ulster peoples' homes. The walk will be followed by a lunch inspired by seasonal foraged ingredients.
What to know:
-This event is suitable for ages 16+.
-Tickets includes lunch and general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum. Feel free to explore the exhibit buildings and grounds before and after the workshop.
-This is an outside, slow-paced walking event that will take place rain or shine so please wear suitable clothes and footwear.
