Ballylagan Trail Rides operate out of a small family working yard. The Murray family saw an equestrian opportunity for Trail Rides on the beautiful Organic Farm and surrounding County Antrim countryside. Visited by King Charles in May 1999, the horses are the heart and soul of this South Antrim operation.

There is also self-catering apartments at the farm and an organic shop.

At Ballylagan Trail Rides, the horses have been highly trained and they also provide fitted helmets, riding boots and a familiarisation in the arena before you head out.

Products they offer as follows:

  • 1hr Off-road Trail for beginners right up to advanced

  • 2hr and 3hr Forest Trail for the experienced rider

  • 1hr Beach Ride from May to end of October

  • Me and My Pony Day

  • Arena Lessons
