Background

Novelli at City Quays is the multi-Michelin-starred and 5-out-of-5 AA Rosette-winning chef Jean Christophe Novelli's Ireland début. Situated on the waterfront, with unparalleled views across Belfast Lough optimised by a double-height glazed façade and an open-air terrace. Serving an authentic Mediterranean menu with locally sourced produce the restaurant offers an all-day dining experience.

Expect

Relaxed brasserie style dining in a beautifully designed bright and airy restaurant, cleverly divided into more intimate spaces using open shelving, home to interesting ornaments and books that serve as a talking point if you manage to divert your eyes from the stunning views of Belfast’s waterfront which shimmers day and night. Novelli’s also has live entertainment at weekends including singers and guitarists, making it the perfect spot for socialising with friends, colleagues, or loved ones.

Menu

Freshly prepared using local product, the menu is inspired by Jean Christophe Novelli so expect a Mediterranean twist on a wide selection of mouth-watering choices that do not disappoint. Jean Christophe has included some of his signature dishes which brought him Michelin Star and AA Rosette success. With a separate vegan menu and options available for all dietary requirements, the knowledgeable and friendly team will be happy to discuss what is in each dish and provide recommendations.

Occasions

Perfect for celebrations, the restaurant can accommodate large groups dining together or why not choose the option of private dining in a first-floor suite with floor-to-ceiling windows and elevated river views?

Enjoy special occasions such as Valentines, Mother’s Day, Easter and Christmas when Novelli’s makes it extra special with menus designed for the occasion, gifts and activities. Take a front row window seat at the Halloween fireworks or make a visit part of your family day out during the Belfast Maritime Festival.

Why not make every Sunday special with a family friendly Sunday lunch. Dine in Novelli’s followed by a riverside stroll to St George’s Market, cross the footbridge to visit Titanic Quarter or take to the river with a Titanic Boat Tour. Your four legged friends are welcome too when dining in the lounge or on the terrace.
