Description

Set in picturesque Whitehead, why not come down to the Railway Museum this May Day and catch a short trip on site in a carriage hauled by a steam locomotive.

Enjoy a leisurely walk around their 5-gallery museum and learn all about steam operations in a bygone time, all included in the ticket price. Enjoy some children’s activities in their Stables building and cap off your stay by treating yourself in their Cups and Carriages café.

To mark the better weather, they are teaming up with Kilcreggan Urban Farm Garden Centre. They will be on hand to give planting advice and to tempt you with some of their wonderful blooms.

So come on down and enjoy a ‘blooming’ good Bank Holiday.
