QEST Northern Ireland Showcase Exhibition

Craft NI are delighted to partner with the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) to bring to you the QEST Northern Ireland Showcase Exhibition in February 2024!
QEST supports the training and education of talented and aspiring craftspeople through Scholarships, Emerging Maker Grants and Apprenticeships.
Craft NI are delighted that by means of this joint exhibition, craft audiences in Northern Ireland will be able to see the work of 16 QEST Alumni who are based in or from the island of Ireland, who represent a range of crafts including glass, handloom weaving, luthiery, willow sculpture, wrought iron putter making and silversmithing.
This unique event will open on Thursday February 1st at 6pm at Craft NI Gallery, Belfast’s only craft dedicated venue, and run until May 10th, 2024.
The works will be available to view online starting February 1st at https://exhibitions.craftni.org/.
The participating QEST Scholars and their disciplines are: Aaron Leach, wrought iron putter making; Andrea Spencer, glass; Anne-Marie O'Sullivan, basketry; Bob Johnston, basket making and willow sculpture; Cara Murphy, silversmithing; Caitlin Murphy, silversmithing; Damien McKeown/Mourne Textiles, handloom weaving; James Adair, saddlery & leatherwork; Kurtis Scott, guitar making; Laura Quinn, glass; Lucy Cushley, saddlery; Mourne Textiles, handloom weaving; Patrick Davison, goldsmithing & silversmithing; Stephen McClenaghan, musical instrument making; Tara Osborough, textile design and making; Scott Benefield, glass.
