Henry George Ferguson was an Irish engineer and inventor who is noted for his role in the development of the modern tractor, becoming the first Irishman to build and fly his own airplane, and for developing the first four-wheel drive Formula One car.
After years of campaigning and fund raising the HFCC first displayed the Harry Ferguson Memorial Gardens on the day of the 2008 Ferguson Homestead Event.
